One of the true measures of a good dentist is how well he or she cares about your gums. Gums treatment, or periodontal therapy, must always precede any other type of treatment. This holds true particularly with regards to placing permanent crowns or "caps" on your teeth. Since the final esthetic result of any crown is how it appears against the gums, unfavorable results may be obtain if gums are not treated before placing crowns.

Oftentimes, a 'Periodontist' (or gums specialist) is summoned to discuss the future prognosis of a case. In our office Dr. Robert Kaufman evaluates those patients which require a closer look at their gums. He makes sure that the gums foundation of your mouth is in as good a condition as possible so that any future restorative treatment will not affect them.

Have you ever seen unsightly dark gums around a tooth?
That is the unfortunate result of receding gums around crowns. If you want your dentistry to look and feel great, you must request a thorough gums evaluation prior to any crown reconstruction!

    Written Warranty!
Who would give a written warranty on dental crowns, inlays, on lays and bridges??? The answer is only a dentist who practices extra-high quality dentistry, one who knows his work is superb and one who has nothing to hide. Such a dentist is Dr. Gerardo Beauchamp!!!

At Dr. Beauchamp’s office, you will be diagnosed and treatment planned in phases. Work which is needed or necessary to remove disease will be done first. A reconstruction of your mouth to an ideal, self-maintainable state is done next, if necessary. Finally, a periodic maintenance phase will include regular visits and check ups to spot any problems way before they actually start causing you discomfort and pain. You will feel that you are getting excellent, personalized treatment at all times. It is easy to guarantee one’s dentistry when patients fall into a routine of prevention.

Dr. Beauchamp strongly recommends that you use the electric toothbrush . By using the you will maintain better oral hygiene at home in between professional cleanings.
