He is a member in good standing
of the American Dental Association,
the East Coast District Dental Society,
the Florida Dental Association,
the West Dade Dental Association,
and several local study groups.
He practices holistic dentistry.
This means that he treats the "whole"
patient, and not just his or her
mouth. Therefore, his duty to the
patient does not end with the diagnosis
of tooth decay, gum disease or oral
cancer alone, but goes much further
to include a thorough review of
the medical history to see which
factors may be related to dental
disease. It also includes a very
detailed look at the patient’s
bite, its functioning and the role
of a "bad bite" in the onset of
gum disease and tooth loss. The
emphasis is on prevention.
He practices family dentistry. He
treats the entire family, from newborns
to seniors. He encourages patient
health education in every visit.
His message is very strong in nutrition,
as proper nutrition is a prerequisite
for good health. He promotes healthy
living.
He practices cosmetic dentistry.
He is very skilled in all the latest
cosmetic techniques. Fabulous-looking
porcelain veneers are used to rebuild
smiles affected by crooked, chipped
or discolored teeth. Tooth-colored
fillings appear very natural as
if no filling existed at all!
He practices implant dentistry.
Dental implants are used to restore
with astonishing looks and function
spaces left by missing teeth. This
technique is far superior to traditional
dental prostheses. Please ask Dr.
Beauchamp if dental implants are
for you. In the fully edentulous
patient implants can be used to
secure dentures and provide superb
force in biting.
Aside from being superbly trained
in all aspects of dental rehabilitation,
he has a great personality. In 1993,
he became the proud father of a
baby boy. In 1997, he and his high-school
sweetheart were blessed with the
birth of a beautiful baby girl.
